I'm a Hydrographic Surveyor and Geomatics specialist based in Glasgow, Scotland, with over 10 years experience in the marine industry. Throughout my career, I have held technical support roles at the world's leading sonar manufacturers, operating on a global scale.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring my passions in various fields. Aviation, traveling, web design, graphic design, video games, and oil painting are among my diverse interests. Since 2004, I have been responsible for overseeing content production for The GTA Network, a network of fan sites and communities dedicated to the popular Grand Theft Auto video game series developed by Rockstar Games. With a monthly visitor count exceeding 1.5 million, the network has garnered a significant following over the years.

Responsible for managing field service activities, serving as the technical support lead and overseeing the online help desk, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service. My role involves actively supporting R&D initiatives to drive the continuous development of NORBIT's cutting-edge multibeam sonar technology. Furthermore, I am responsible for writing and maintaining operator manuals and managing comprehensive training courses, which cover hydrographic survey principles and multibeam system operation.
Hydrographic Surveyor at Teledyne RESON

Responsible for the installation and commissioning of integrated multibeam survey systems, including sensor integration design, vessel installation management, dimensional control and calibrations, authoring and executing acceptance test protocols, training and customer support. Further duties included preparing technical documentation and drawings, repairing sonar systems, and performing internal product testing.
